Die Beschreibung hinkt natürlich etwas, aber vielleicht ist das für einen Kunden, der keine Ahnung vom Seifeln hat, so "schlüssiger".
Thanks for your patience, we've had a busy week and this just came in from Randy, the owner of Calia and the product developer as well:
The surfactants in the Calia cleansing products are made from both Organic Coconut and/or Organic Palm Oil. These oils are heated in conjunction potassium hydroxide until all of the latter is completely burned off, leaving the modified, pure coconut and palm oil and the only residual. In this process called tracing, it is essential that only the oils remain as this is what gives the Calia shampoos their ability to moisturize so well. Then these oils are blended with the botanicals where they infuse for 1 -2 weeks. At this point the essential oils are blended (if required) and are left for a few days before making their way into their final container.
