Sie sind mit dem Beantworten von Emails zur Zeit wohl etwas hinterher. Ich habe heute eine Antwort auf meine Email vom 14. 3. bekommen

Ich habe meine LYNNE in Vineyard heute bei der Post abgeholt und musste leider auch 5,46 € Zoll nachzahlen

Ich bin mir noch nicht so sicher, ob sie mir gefällt... Die Farbeinteilung ist zwar genauso wie ich sie haben wollte, also viel Grün. Aber genau das Grün mag ich nicht so, es ist kein schönes, dunkles Tannengrün, sondern ziemlich hell und quitschig. Mal schauen, wann ich dazu komme Fotos zu machen. Bin grad erst nach Hause gekommen und ziemlich platt. Die nächsten 2 Tage sieht es leider genauso aus. Außerdem ist es dann schon immer dunkel und ich könnte nur mit Blitz fotografieren.

oh, da bin ich aber neugierig drauf sie zu sehen. hab ja auch vineyard bestellt. aber lass dir ruhig zeit. meine ist ja noch nicht mal verschickt.


edit: ich nehm alles zurück. 1445 wurde heut als verschickt markiert. 1448 noch nicht. aber ich denke die wurde auch schon verschickt. *hoff*

Juche, ich habe eine neue 60th Street ertauschbörst - nachdem mir meine geliebte Camo zu klein geworden ist. Dafür hat die nun aber ein schönes neues Zuhause gefunden.
Das hier ist mein neues Schätzchen:

Na gut, emalia, dann spanne ich dich mal nicht weiter auf die Folter Ich habe doch grade schon ein paar Fotos gemacht, allerdings wie gesagt mit Blitz, deshalb nicht wirklich farbecht:

Im Vergleich mit meinem Ketylo ebenfalls in Vineyard

Hier erkennt man vielleicht, dass das Grün der 60th Street Forke eher ins Kühle geht, beim Ketylo dagegen ist es ein eher warmes Grün. Aber generell ist das Grün heller und quietschiger als auf den Fotos, der Blitz verfälscht eben.

Dafür bin ich mit dem Lila echt zufrieden. Da hatte ich eher befürchtet, dass ich es nicht mag, weil es zu blass sein könnte. Im Vergleich zum Ketylo sieht man aber ein klares Lila (beim Ketylo wirkt es sehr Grau).

Auf den Fotos mag ich die Forke bzw. Farben doch... Mal schauen, was ich im Laufe der Woche bei Tageslicht sage.

Ich habe Jan gefragt ob sie mir die Farben bei einer Forke so machen kann wie auf ihre Beispielbild.

I am so happy that you are liking our forks. That really makes Jim feel good to know that our customers like their forks.

I talked to Jim about the Dakota fork. He says that he should be able to do you a fork that will look like the one in the photo. The one in the photo on the web site is a Savanna.
If you order one make sure to put a note in the note section that you want the coloring like the one in the photo so I can make sure to remind him.

Ich schrieb folgendes:

I ordered an 4-prong fork some weeks ago. I am happily anticipating it I
know that I have to be patient because shipping (and German cunstoms!) can
take time. As I looked in our longhair forum (langhaarnetzwerk) I came to
know that order 1440 is shipped so that my 1452 is near. Thus I got the
following idea: would it be nice for your customers to know at which number
the orders are shipped yet? I don't know how much work such a counter would
be, it is merely a humble suggestion of mine

Antwort kam heute Nacht:
"Thank you for your very nice note.
You have a very good idea and we have talked about putting some kind of counter out on the website so our customers will know what is shipping.
There are a couple of problems that I am running into though.
The first one is that all of the orders don't ship in exact order. Natural
wood forks take longer to get shipped out than the dymondwood forks do.
After the natural wood forks are made it takes time for the finish to cure.
That timing may be affected by the humidity in the air. Sometimes the
finish will be dried and Jim will find a flaw in the finish and then he
needs to refinish it. That all adds time to the order being shipped. If an
order or two with dymondwood forks is ready to go I get those out before the natural wood one goes so I can keep the flow going.
Sometimes changes are made to an order and that will throw it out of order a little bit as well.
I am not sure how to handle those things so that some people won't think
that their order has been shipped when it hasn't.
I have been very swamped lately and am getting behind on my e-mails to our customers (which is really important to me) and I just haven't put a lot of time into figuring out the counter. Also, I am not sure I can keep up with it right now. But Jim feels it is something we need to consider.
I will keep working on it though and do my best.

Die striped Indigo Royalwood wird sicher ganz hübsch bei dir aussehen.

@estrella: ohhh. die ist toll. wenn meine auch so aussieht bin ich mehr als zufrieden. da meine gestern verschickt wurde dauerts also "nur" noch 2 woche oder so dann darf ich sie bewundern.

@charlottchen: die farbe passt toll zu dir. aber sieht das nur so aus oder ist dein lemonwood tasächlich an manchen stellen leicht bräunlich? ein einzelfot wär tooooll *hust*

@else: ja, jim bekommt das sehr gut hin. hatte ich bei meiner desert sunset auch. hab vorher viele fotos gesehen wo sie richtig rot war. auf der HP ist sie das ja nicht. und jim hat sie tatsächlich so hinbekommen das sie so aussieht wie auf der HP.

@fredda: oh, danke für die anfrage. bin gespannt ob sich das irgendwie realisieren lässt. stimmt, an die naturhölzer denken wir immer gar nicht gell. hmmm..na mal sehen. ansonsten halten wir uns halt weiter gegenseitig auf dem laufenden.

@alex: die striped indigo wird toll aussehen bei dir. wobei earth&sky ja auch schön ist.

Ich bin auch froh, dass das noch geklappt hat. Die einzige in Earth & Sky, die mir richtig gefallen hat, war die von Maiglöckchen, weil die wenig blau hat.

Bekommt man ein Versand- Email oder kann man sein aktuellen Status auf der HP irgendwo einsehen?
Ich warte auf die Nummer 1447, in ca. drei Wochen fahre ich in den Urlaub und ich habe die böse Befürchtung, dass der Liefertermin im Urlaub reinfällt
Muss ich beim Zoll oder der Poststelle bescheid geben, dass ein Päckchen aus den USA bei mir eintrudelt und ich nicht zu Hause bin, bevor diese es wieder zurück schicken?
